Send Beats To Badio!!

Do you need an example of how to do it with fresh lyrics?  Note that word “fresh” in the last sentence.

Now send the kid some beats at badiomusic{at}gmail.com

Send Beats To Taktikal!

The rapper Taktikal is working on a new mixtape and is accepting beats through email at:  xxtaktikalxx@aim.com

You can hear his style and what he’s about @ www.myspace.com/taktikal & datpiff.com/profile/Taktikal88/mixtapes

I gotta comment on this one.  I listened to a few tracks like I usually do before posting up these opportunities and dude got this one joint using the drum track from Juicy that really was poppin’  Also, his lyrics on the first featured track I heard was pretty deep on some family drama subject matter too which you don’t get too much in hip hop.  So – in short – it’s good to catch a glimpse of creativity even amongst the mass of “gansta this gangsta that” we get so much of in the underground.

Handle it people!!!

Send Beats to Universal Artist Mark Deez!

UPDATE: This post was previously titled “Sell Beats To Universal Artsist Mark Deez”  which was wrong.  TheBeatBusiness.com takes credit for the mistake.  He’s not paying for beats so your submissions will be for promotional exposure only if he uses them.

——————————————————————————–

Universal Music Group artist Mark Deez has made the call for beats.

Check his Email him you hottest product directly:  markdeez706@gmail.com

One tip for these submissions is to send a link if the artist inbox is full.  Sometimes Gmail will start bouncing emails if too much data get sent.  In that case, send a link and hopefully the artist will get at you.

Survey Says! More Opportunites to submit beats!

We’ve been running a survey on the site.  Here are the results, in order, and what we plan to do with the data:

  1. More opportunities to submit beats
  2. More articles on industry topics like how to earn royalties
  3. Interviews with industry insiders
  4. Interviews with up and coming producers

The topic that will get limited coverage is Conferences/Industry Events.

The topic that gets dropped for good is Beat Battles.

We’ve got a long overdue site redesign in the works and a few interviews to kick off a new era for The Beat Business.com.

What do you think?!?!  Let us know!  This site is here for the community of beatmakers so speak up and get you need from the site!
